Do I have to register to order products?
No. You do not need to create an account or register with us before placing an order. You can browse our online shop, select the products you require and add them directly to your shopping basket. When you are ready to order, simply proceed through the checkout process and provide the required delivery information. For online orders, you can make payment securely through the site using either a credit or debit card or BACS. This means you can complete your purchase without having to create a separate customer account on our website.
If you would prefer to order by another method, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
How can I order the products?
Our products can be ordered directly through our online shop. Simply select the product you require, choose any available options such as size, colour or fitting type, and add it to your shopping basket before proceeding to checkout.
If you would rather speak to us before ordering, you can also contact us directly. We can provide advice about the products, check availability and prepare an invoice by email for the items you require. This can be particularly useful for larger orders, multiple products or projects where you would like to discuss the specification before making payment.
Can I collect or pick up the products?
Yes, collection can be arranged by prior appointment.
Our workshop operates as a manufacturing environment, so we do not have unrestricted retail opening hours for customers to visit and collect orders. For this reason, collections are currently by appointment only.
Please contact us in advance if you would like to collect your weathervane. We can then arrange a suitable time and ensure that someone is available to assist you when you arrive.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Delivery is included to addresses throughout the UK mainland.
Our products are generally sent using an APC Courier signed for service with tracking. Once your order is ready for dispatch, we will normally contact you to arrange a convenient delivery day. Because many of our products are substantial decorative items, including weathervane finials, we take care to use an appropriate delivery service. The exact delivery arrangements can vary according to the size, weight and quantity of products ordered.

What is the lead time for delivery?

What fitting is required?
The fitting method varies according to the individual product, so there is no single fitting system that applies to every weathervane or item. Each product listing contains information about the available fitting options and the type of installation required. This may include details such as the roof pitch, fixing arrangement, dimensions and any additional components that may be required. We recommend checking the individual product description carefully before ordering to ensure that the fitting option is suitable for your roof or building.

How are the products installed?
Installation depends on the particular product and its intended application. Weathervanes and weathervane finials can have different fixing and installation requirements depending on the design, roof construction and fitting position. For this reason, the installation information is provided within the individual product description wherever applicable. Please refer to the relevant product page for details of how that particular item is designed to be installed. If you are replacing an existing ridge tile, it can also be helpful to check the dimensions and fitting arrangement of the existing item before ordering.
For specialist roofing work, particularly where products are being fitted to an existing roof, we recommend using a suitably experienced roofing contractor.
What are the products made from?
The materials and finishes vary between individual products. Depending on the item, our range can include products made from materials such as copper, steel and, in the case of weathervane finials, a British Kitemarked concrete mix.
