Crafted from the exquisite copper verdigris, this weathervane marries aesthetics with functionality, serving as an eye catching ornament and a reliable wind indicator. The fully operational victorian arrow gracefully turns, elegantly pointing to the whims of the breeze.

Standing at a majestic height of 30.7 inches (78 cm), this weathervane is meticulously designed to elevate your roof's aesthetic appeal. The base, featuring a charming half round ridge pattern, spans dimensions of 10 inches (24cm) in width, 12 inches (30cm) in length, and 8 inches (20.5cm) in height. Escape the hassle of drilling into your roof, this victorian arrow weathervane embraces a low hassle installation process. Without the need for brackets or intrusive holes, it integrates into your roof's architecture. The ridge fitting securely attaches with mortar, ensuring stability and weather resilience.

Enhancing its structural integrity, the weathervane includes a metal strap that serves as a mechanical fix fitting. This adjustable strap, equipped with predrilled holes, facilitates straightforward fastening using screws, nails, or preferred fasteners. Concealing the strap beneath the mortar adds a touch of sophistication, ensuring a sleek and streamlined appearance.

Whether gracing the gable end, hip end, house, cottage, shed, workshop, or garden, this victorian arrow ridge weathervane is a resplendent addition to any rooftop. Elevate your exterior with this enchanting embellishment, providing the perfect denouement for your roof to captivate onlookers and leave a lasting impression.

  • Brackets & Fixings

This weathervane finial can insalled in the following ways:

    Mortar bedding:

The traditional installation method is to bed the finial onto the roof using mortar, in the same way as ridge tiles are fitted. For larger or heavier finials, additional mechanical fixing can be used for extra stability.

    Mechanical strap fixing with mortar:

Many finials are supplied with a concealed galvanised metal fixing strap secured beneath the ridge base. The adjustable strap can be cut to length and fixed to the roof structure using screws, nails or mortar. Once installed, the strap is hidden beneath the mortar bedding, leaving a clean and seamless finish.

    Dry fixing systems:

Some roofs use dry fix systems that secure ridge tiles and finials without mortar. These systems typically use brackets or mechanical fixings. If you are using a dry ridge system, please contact us to confirm whether your chosen finial can be adapted for compatibility.
